Hello fellow Brewers,
Our next meeting is on Monday 12th May 2014 in the usual place: The Draft House, Tower Bridge. This is the second Monday of the month, avoiding the Bank Holiday Monday.
If you have any news items that you’d like to bring to the Group, then please let Pete know in advance. Similarly, if you have a brewing question for the Q&A section that you’d like to be answered by the Group, would you please submit it as soon as possible. It will then be added it to the agenda and put to the group during the meeting.
This month we have Martyn Cornell of Zythophile coming to speak to us. He is an expert on British beer history and author of Amber, Gold & Black He will be speaking about Burton Ales, the prescribed style for next years Hayesenbrau Award and helping us judge this years award. He co-authored a very good article with Ant Hayes about Burton Ales a few years ago for Zymurgy Magazine.

20:00 Hayesenbrau Award judging
21:30 Meeting to close
Please make sure to bring at least 4 bottles of your entry beer, they will be judged by absolutely everyone in the room. If you bring too little beer the pours will be very short and our beer might not get the attention it deserves. Also, if there is anything else you would like added to the agenda, please let Pete know.
The Draft House are very kindly giving us a 10% discount on our drinks, so don’t forget to ask for it.
