BJCP 2021 Style 3B - Czech Premium Pale lager
Having been with LAB for nearly a year and hearing all the comments/advice I really felt it would benefit my brewing if I entered some competitions this year. I chose Czech Pilsner as I anticipated that everyone else would be making Marzens and Dunkels and also due to the fact that both my wife and myself quite enjoy them. It was the perfect time of year to try out this brew as I have limited temperature control (I can heat up, but not cool down), Hence the name of Garage Pilsner as it fermented in the Garage during the cold snap in January. Recipe is pretty much an amalgamation of a number of recipe’s that I read on the internet, and overall I am really pleased with the result.
