In my opinion, Munich Dunkel should be about Munich malt, and that's all there is in this. A restrained amount of hops, and a decoction mash to lift the complexity and give a rich dry finish.

* 45g Hallertauer Mittelfrueh (4.2% AA) 60 mins
* 22g Hallertauer Mittelfrueh (4.2% AA) 30 mins

* Munich Helles (WLP860)

== Process ==
=== Mash ===
*Mash in at 51°C
*Triple decoction with rests at 62°, 70° and 78°

=== Boil ===
*60 minute boil

=== Ferment ===
* Added pure oxygen before pitching
* Pitch at 9°
* Allow to rise to 12° over 3 days
* Rise slowly to 18° after half attenuation
* Lager at ~1° for 2-4 months

=== Serving ===
Carbonate at 2.5 volumes
