This month is our annual club competition, the Hayesenbrau. The theme of this competition is English IPA. All entrants should bring 2L of their competition entry, and an additional bottle (of any size) if they want their entry to be assessed to BJCP standards. The winning beer will be decided by popular vote. Entries must be registered on the competition page: http://competitions.londonamateurbrewers.co.uk/hayesenbrau/
The competition will be preceded by a style presentation on English IPA from LAB regular Mike Carter.
There may be some limited time for members tastings after the competition. Please ensure that you bring 2L of your beer, and that you post in the forum your intent.
If you have any news items that you’d like to talk about, bring them to the group. Similarly, if you have a brewing question for the Q&A section that you’d like to be answered by the group bring it along and we’ll discuss it.
