Hello fellow brewers
It’s been a difficult few months for LAB with venue issues and uncertainty about where we would next meet. Finally we have nailed down a suitable and welcoming venue in The Bottle Shop. They are very happy to have us and at the moment there is plenty of space and plenty of good beer. They’ve offered to get more jugs and buckets for our tasting sessions and are willing to help improve things for us. So, from now on, we can all count on the fact that our meetings will be held on the first Monday of the month (unless it’s a bank holiday, then it’s the second Monday) at LAB HQ, The Bottle Shop, 128 Druid Street, London, SE1 2HH. That means the next meeting is on Monday 6th October.
If you have any news items that you’d like to talk about, bring them to the group. Similarly, if you have a brewing question for the Q&A section that you’d like to be answered by the group bring it along and we’ll discuss it.
Something we do need to tackle is how we run the tasting sessions. We have tried a few different things with some success but we’d like to know everybody’s thoughts and ideas on the matter. How do you all want your beers to be tasted and how do you want the feedback delivered to you?
