The homebrew club for brewers of all levels based in and around London. We meet monthly, come and join us.

Next Meeting: September 2016

Hello fellow brewers,

Our next meeting will be at UBrew, Arches 29-30, 24 Old Jamaica Road, London, SE16 4AW on Monday 5th September.

This month James Wilson will present to the group on the subject of Fining and Beer Clarity.

If you have any news items that you’d like to talk about, bring them to the group. Similarly, if you have a brewing question for the Q&A section that you’d like to be answered by the group bring it along and we’ll discuss it.

Members Tastings

We will continue to collect feedback from the formal tastings on a table by table basis, that we trialled at the last meeting. Talk to the setup crew or the chair if you wish to be a spokesperson. Otherwise I will pick during the Q&A session.

Please remember to bring in at least two litres of beer if you intend getting feedback from the whole group during the formal tasting session. We ask any BJCP & Guild judges to please wear your badges if you are willing to taste and give feedback to anyone during the informal session.

  • 1 bottle in, 1 bottle out
  • label should identify brewer, strength and broad style category. Handwritten labels ok too.
  • bottles to be taken out during the break
  • Anything left at the end of the meeting is a free for all.
