The May LAB meeting will take place on Thursday 9 May at The Barrel Project, 80 Druid Street, SE1 2XN. Note that May’s meeting will be held on the second Thursday of the month. From June, meetings will return to the first Thursday of the month.
May’s meeting sees our annual internal club competition – Hayesenbrau, commemorating LAB founder Anthony Hayes who launched the club in 2007.
Each year Hayesenbrau has a different theme. This year’s theme is session beers of 3% ABV or below. Full details about the competition can be found at the competition site.
Because of the number of beers everyone will be tasting and evaluating for Hayesenbrau, we will not run a separate normal open member’s tasting at May’s meeting. If you have beer not entered for Hayesenbrau that you want some private feedback on, there will be an opportunity to share it with other club members at the close of the meeting as normal
